ShopForLeather.Com is BDSM friendly, but if you need information, ask for Lisa, she is knowledgeable about making toys. Hmmmmmmm.

Instructions:

  1. Cut 1/2" or 1/4" strips, leaving 8" of the leather uncut for your handle. (the thinner the strips, the more sting)

  2. Apply "Hide Weld" in thin, zig-zag lines on the unfinished side of the "handle" part of the leather you just cut.

  3. Using a putty knife, smear the "Hide Weld" evenly.

  4. Place dowell at the closest edge to you and roll leather tightly around it. Hold tight for about 30 seconds until set, applying more glue, lightly, as needed.

  5. Apply "Hide Weld" to the unfinished side of the circular piece and place on the rolled up end of the handle, to cover the "tree like" rings.

  6. If you want to apply the lanyard, this is when you would put it on. Apply a small amount of "Leather Weld" to the unfinished side of each end of the lanyard, (approximately 1/4"). Place the glue side down against either side of the "roll", about 3/4" onto the handle. Hold till set.

  7. Apply "Hide Weld" to the unfinished side of one of the two leather strips, and wrap the first around the "lanyard end" of the flogger, overlapping slightly. Hold till set. Repeat the process for the "tress end" of the handle.

  8. Using a wooden mallet, hammer one upholstery tack into each lanyard end, centering it on the leather strip. Alternate upholstery tacks, using four total, on the strips on either end of the handle.

  9. Hammer two upholstery tacks in the "seam" of the handle approximately two inches apart, in the center. Repeat on the opposite side.

  10. Stagger two tacks on each adjoining side, for decoration. Allow to set overnight.

NOTE:

  • For variations on the sensation, you can make pointed, round, or straight cut tips.
